Hello, I’m Kate.
In today’s fast-paced world, many of us operate from a place of emotional dysregulation, often without the time or space to pause, reflect, and process. As a Psychologist, I strive to offer a space where my clients can slow down and reconnect with themselves—not only during our sessions, but through practical tools that support emotional well-being in everyday life.
I am passionate about helping people function at their best. I aim to provide an atmosphere of warmth and safety where my clients can feel heard, valued, and supported. Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and I tend to tailor my therapy approach to individual needs and experiences.
How I Work:
I allow my clients to take the lead in identifying the areas they’d like to explore, while gently guiding the process with my clinical expertise. My therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily draw from:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to help identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to encourage psychological flexibility and values-based living.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I work with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including:
Anxiety and stress-related disorders
Mood disorders
Trauma
Grief and loss
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they process their experiences—whether they’re facing challenges from the past or difficulties in the present. My goal is to help you develop insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change that enhances your quality of life.
Above all, I want you to feel understood and empowered in our work together. If you’re ready to take this step, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey toward greater well-being.
